Hello Chapman Hills Families!
The Honorary Service Awards (HSA) Team and I are honored to lead in the recognition of our amazing volunteers for the 2024-2025 school year.
The HSAs are designed as a unique way for PTA Units to acknowledge both individuals, teachers, admin staff, volunteers and the many others, for outstanding community service to our children and youth. On a daily basis, these individuals go above and beyond and have contributed to Chapman Hills Elementary by taking on leadership roles in the PTA and being the go-getters! They are also a consistent presence, doing incredible work at or behind the scenes for the classrooms, ensuring that our children obtain the best support while receiving their education.
Last school year, volunteers logged 7,120 hours while serving our students. At the current minimum wage of $16.00 per hour, that is equivalent of $113,920 in wages donated to Chapman Hills Elementary by volunteers in one school year. We are so appreciative of all our volunteers! (Mind you this is $16 per hour) and many of our "volunteers" earn way more than that, but still take time off their actual work life to help!
Let's take a moment to honor them
Thank you so much for taking the time to recognize those who make a difference, to help our children achieve!
We look forward to receiving your nominations.
